Wiki (4)BeeSeek staff wish a happy Christmas to all BeeSeekers and all those who still do not know to be. :P

As already reported in andrea-bs's personal weblog, the developers team leader tried to flood hive, after implementing new features, and the application was able to pass the test without troubles.

Simone Brunozzi forecasts that Hive can probably reach about 40 requests per second in the next following months, while Andrea did his tests with 200 concurrent queries and the responseness was very quick anyway.
Thank to the good job of the Developers Team, Hive is going to rock!

As announced in a previous post, BeeSeek changes shape, and instead of
an extension or browser plugin, it is becoming a web application.
At first, the chosen name was Firebee, because the first to be created
would have been the Firefox extension, but now that name isn't fine
anymore, and we're looking for a new one.

"from a tv series"
So, what's the aim of this post? Simply asking some help to find a
good name for it!
Free your fantasy!

He's not the first one to talk about Beeseek in his blog, but he's the first to do so after the summer holidays, during which our "hive" didn't sleep a day! The project went on since that distant 10th of june.
When Ubuntista proposed the idea it was immediately accepted, and some bloggers and enthusiasts joined the project (Piplos - ubuntuz - iLLusion); Flynux however, with his excellent article has shown that Beeseek is well alive, and is marching towards its final goal!
I thank him and invite him to watch us and, why not, to join one of our teams!
